Say Goodbye to Dental Woes with Mohip Dental’s Extraction Service

Comfortable, Modern Dental Extractions

No one looks forward to a tooth extraction, but modern techniques make the experience much easier than you might fear. At Mohip Dental, we use gentle approaches, advanced anesthetics, and clear post-op guidance to make extractions as smooth as possible.

When extraction is the right call

  • Severe tooth decay that cannot be saved with a filling, crown, or root canal.
  • Severe gum disease that has loosened the tooth.
  • Crowding (often before orthodontic treatment).
  • Impacted or partially erupted wisdom teeth.
  • Dental trauma where the tooth cannot be repaired.

Simple vs. surgical extractions

A simple extraction is used for visible teeth and only requires local anesthetic. A surgical extraction is used for impacted or broken teeth and may involve sedation. Both are usually completed in a single visit.

After your extraction

  • Bite gently on gauze for 30 to 60 minutes to control bleeding.
  • Apply ice to your cheek for the first 24 hours.
  • Eat soft, cool foods for the first day.
  • Avoid straws, smoking, and vigorous rinsing for 5 days.

If you think you may need an extraction, call our office for a consultation.
